First Round

  • 16 groups, 4 teams in each group, 2 matches per team.
  • 2 x 25 minute halves with no added time and halves may be shortened.
  • One winner per group. Group winners with highest point totals will advance to the second round. (Possible wild card team team[s], only if bracket not filled).
  • Brackets winners will be determined by the following point system:
    1. Winner= 5 points.
    2. Tie = 3 points.
    3. Loss = 0 points.
    4. One point for each goal up to three. Forfeit matches will receive no goals.
    5. Forfeit match will receive a maximum of 3 points. No goal points will be given.
  • In case of a tie at the end of round one, tie breakers will be:
    1. Penalty kicks
    2. Head to head match up
    3. Least goals scored against
    4. Most goals scored
    5. Goal differential
Second Round
  • Single elimination.
  • 2 x 25 minute halves to include the championship match.
  • In case of a tie: Penalty kicks – no coin flips.
Notes
  • All teams must check in at the Soccer tournament table prior to their first match of the day.
  • Kicks from the penalty spot: Semi-finals and Championship match only
  • Forfeit of a match for any reason results in a 3-0 win for the opposing team. No goal points will be given. If teams are tied with total points, the team with the most total goals will advance using the tiebreaker criteria.
  • A player(s) or coach getting a red card(s) results in a suspension(s) for the next match at a minimum.
  • Each red card issued in a match will result in taking away 2 points from the final total; each red card is 2 points.
  • Home team provides the match ball and kicks off. Visitors choose side to defend.
  • Home teams are listed first on the schedule and are on the north or west side of the field
  • Visitors are on the south or east side of the field.
  • Matches will start as scheduled. If there are equipment or field problems, it is up to the discretion of the management as the whether a match will be started at a later time or rescheduled.
